    I'm re-tooling my orchestra template, and of course trying to get as much into a 64 bit environment as possible.

    If you had an instance of VE Pro with a few Kontakts in there that used to be in the 32 bit server (before Kontakt was 64 bit on the Mac), and then you load that into VE Pro 64 bit server, does Kontakt sense that and convert to its 64 bit version? 

    I'm assuming it does, because when I first loaded this I saw a small window for a brief moment that said "Converting..."

    ALSO:  Is there somewhere on the Kontakt GUI that tells you what its current bit rate is (32 or 64)?

    yes they are interchangeble, but if you load in the 64 bit version and had plugins inserted in VE Pro mixer that are not 64 bit compatible they will be ignored.  In that case you need to use jbridge.
