    Hi,

    I'm wondering if it is possible to run multiple instances of the VE 32bit Server on my main sequencing Mac in order to overcome the 3gig (really more like 2.12gig) RAM limit.  I have to use the 32 bit version because of Kontakt 3 not being 64bit on OSX yet. 

    I already have the 64bit server and about 10 Gigs of VIs and Kontakt instruments loaded on my Slave PC.

    Also, strangely, Logic seems to slow way down just with VE connections from the PC but I don't see any CPU meter changes in Activity monitor or in the Logic CPU meter.  This is just with VE instruments only, no other AU instruments are open in Logic.  Any one else having this problem?

    To be clearer, I'm running Logic in 64bit mode and have 12 Gigs of RAM on my 8 core Mac.

    Hi serialmusique,

    it´s not possible to open multiple 32-bit VE PRO servers, by design. You can open 32- bit and 64-bit VE PRO Servers simultaneoously, but that won´t help in your case.

    May I ask why you are still working on Kontakt 3?

    Did you try the "Decouple" option, described on page 14 of the VE PRO manual?
