    Hi there, Can anyone give me an idea of their average RAM usage for a moderately complex project please? I'm in the process of spec'ing up a Windows machine, and am wondering whether 6Gb of memory will be sufficient for a full orchestra using the Special Edition Bundle. Many thanks

    I would imagine 6GB is fine for a special edition setup. I'm managing with 12 Gb but I'm using about four full DVD editions plus some downloads. CPU was the bottleneck for me when I first started. I found having VEPro on a server to be the ideal scenario.

    For the Special Edition bundle, you should do fine with 6gb of RAM. I've got SE+ standard myself, plus complete packages of solo and chamber strings, as well as the soprano choir. With 6gb of RAM, I'm managing pretty well. For complex projects, with a full orchestra and other 3rd party VSTi's such as Superior 2, Trilian, Omnisphere and Kontakt, I'm forced to use memory management functions, which is really no big deal.
