  • Vienna instruments special edition plus libraries are not showing

One of our PC had vienna instruments special edition and special edition plus libraries were installed. Both were working fine till last week. suddenly, the special edition plus libraries stop showing up on the vienna software, but no problem with the special edition library files. I've tried to unpacked a new version of special edition libraries and tried to reinstall the software but still not be able to solve this problem. Can any one please advice me how this issue can be solved? Thanks in advance. Btw, the PC is windows XP with 2GB RAM.

  •  Have you tried removing all files from Directory Manager and then re-adding them?

  • Yes, I did try that several times but no luck. As I said earlier the special edition libraries are showing up, but not the special edition plus. Before I the reinstalled license approval (The following licenses are installed) for the Special edition Plus was shown on the left but not the library files. But after the re-installation license approval information for the special edition plus is not showing up as well.

  • Hello ganim,

the SE PLUS is integrated in the Special Edition Files.... could it be that you just overlooked that?

  • Hi Paul thanks for the suggestion. I checked again but definitely the files are not showing up. When it was working I could see the folder for the special edition plus but not now.

  • The PC is installed with the Syncrosoft license manager version 5.2. Would updating the license manager version to the latest one will fix this issue? If i update the license manager will I loose any license information from the old one? Thanks.

    Hello ganim,

it´s always a good idea to update the eLicenser Control Center (that´s what it is called now). No information will be lost.

Just to check: If you go to the Patch Assign window and check a certain instrument, there is no folder in this instrument that says "advanced"?

    Thanks,

    Paul
