    I'm getting flamming when using VE Pro on a slave machine. The DAW host is a MacPro 2.26 8 core, 10.6.4, Digital Performer 7.2. The slave is a Quad i7 by PC AudioLabs (great machine) running W7 pro64. The Slave is running a 64 bit server, and DP is using 32 bit plugins. Both machines use a dedicated ethernet connection that is not connected to anything else - no routers, nothing. The PC accesses the internet through the Mac.

    Does anyone know the way to be rid of flamming and flanging?

    Perhaps DP isn't properly responding to VE Pro's dynamic latency changes at all times. Logic for instance often requires a stop and start of the transport to apply dynamic latency changes.

    If that's the case, it's currently useless to me. I'll have to go back to Midi to get work done.

    Could you perhaps record a sample of the glitches you're getting? Many people are successfully using VE Pro with DP, so there might be something else wrong. You can send it to  with a detailed description of the problem, so we can determine the real cause of the problem easier.
