Hi Karel et al,
I'm running DP7 in RTAS mode with PT HD Accel 3 hardware, OS 10.6.2, new Mac 8-Core. Trying to host Mach Five 2 in a local instance of VE Pro. Two things:
1. Naturally, with this setup, I'm using the RTAS version of the VE Pro Server Interface. This gives me 8 sets of MIDI ports per local instance of VE Pro. Is there any way to create one instance of Mach Five 2 (which would be the AU version of the plug-in, unless I'm mistaken) in my local instance of VE Pro and route more than 16 channels to it? Or must I create a Mach Five 2 instance for each set of 16 MIDI channels?
2. Following behavior: If I leave the Mach Five 2 window locked into the VE Pro window, the MF2 window responds normally when you click on it (except I can't access all parameters because I can't see them all, e.g., FX slot 4). If I click on the double-square in the upper left of the MF2 interface, opening MF2 in its own window, clicking anywhere in the MF2 screen (eg, one of the FX pop-up windows) brings up a blank white window. Sometimes if I double-click enough times it will settle down and let me make a choice, sometimes not.
Can you enlighten me about these two things? Thanks.
Peter
