    Welcome anthonysample [:)],

our VI Collections come with a Standard and an Extended Library. So far you have registered the Standard Library of the Special Edition (as a reference: 345 Euros). You can purchase the Extended Library online anytime. It contains more instruments - find a list when you scroll down on that link.

As you key is a Steinberg key (I checked), it doesn´t contain a demo license. I have sent you a demo license activation code to check out the Extended Library for 30 days/30 starts. You can "recharge" these starts by clicking on "Nutzungszeiträume überprüfen" (Validate license usage periods) in the eLicenser Control Center, as often as you like within the 30 days.

    Best,

    Paul

  • thanks paul, does the extended really cost 465 euros???? :-( dammmm :-D

  • For future reference:  If you can afford to buy an entire collection from a 3rd party dealer, do it because you'll probably save anywhere from 10 to 25% in the long run.  Even if you can only afford the standard collection from a 3rd party dealer it's still beneficial.  Here in the states, I go through ADKproaudio.com.  It's better if you call them rather than order online.

  • Hey! I was about to post just the same question aus anthonysample, and I am glad to find it already answered. Yet I must say I am extremely dissapointed to find that I am only in posession of the standard library, since when buying the Vienna Special edition, I could find no hint whatsoever, that "unlocking the extended library" (quote from the DVD box) would cost me another 300€ or so. I had hoped that buying a DVD box with the words "standard instruments" and "extended instruments" printed on the back of it would really enable me to use both the standard and the extended instruments. Stupid me. But hey, thanks to the Demo Version I still got 180 starts of the extended library too, before I got to by it for, I repeat, another 300€ or so. How cool is that?!?
