    I'm looking for non-vibrato strings, (really only NEED violins).  I have the regular special edition, not extended.  Whats the cheapest path for me to get non-vibrato strings?  Are they in the appassionata sample set?  I can't seem to find what sets have non-vibrato string samples...

     Look at the sample content of the extended string libraries.  I think that's where most of the non-vibrato samples are.
