thanks Jasen.
I am not keyswitching at all and it happens when I click on a note in the gui's keyboard. I press a note and when it's release another note is triggered.

Hmm... That's strange. I wonder what would happen if you just did a clean reinstall of the Vienna player. Have you tried that?
Good idea! I will also like to hear the Vienna staff chime in too and see if they have heard of these.
Another thing I am having a problem with is no proper documentation all the patches, including descriptions of abbreviations etc.
For instance, are the performance legatos including in the Level 2 patches the same as level one? If not, how are they different, etc.
Hello Animus,
please let us know if a re-installation of the latest VSL software worked out fine!
The MIDI notes sound like a possible MIDI routing problem to me. How many MIDI Inputs have you assigned to each MIDI channel?
The documentation of all patches, matrices and presets for all DVD Instruments can be found in your User Area. Especially with the Solo Strings you are checking out right now, you will see (and hear) that the many variations of the Performance Legato are great to have!
Best,
Paul
Okay I am a little confused. Does VE Pro install its own VI version separate from the vst installer? Right now I have two different versions when using the Add Instrument and Add vsti. I have the latest VE Pro beta installed. I am not so sure that "bug" I mentioned with the higher note sounding on the release is gone. I just got Appasionata and installed it on a different machine (Windows 7 64 bits) and it started to do it after I was playing around with settings (more specifically when I changed the octave setting in page 1, and still kept doing it when it was set back to 0)
Hi Animus,
you can always contact to get additional library manuals.
Concerning VE PRO: Depending on the release date of the software, there may be a newer version of Vienna Instruments inplemented in VE PRO.

You can always send your sequencer project to our support team and we will take a look, just to be sure. Please add some information about your OS, your sequencer version and the VE PRO version you are using.
Best,
Paul

Hi Animus
I suspect that you can listen to the release sample (when you release the keyboard).
This "fault" happens when you play an articulation (which is combined with a release sample) for a longer time then it is recorded.
After releasing the key on the keyboard you trigger the release sample with some of the articulation.
Switch off "PLAY RELEASE" (Vienna Instrument) and try again. If the "fault" doesn't appear anymore you've got the point.
Solution: Do not play Samples with Release Samples longer than they are recorded - or switch off "PLAY RELEASE".
All the best
