    I just had to do a complete reinstall of OS X (leopard) and now Digital Performer 7 won't see my sound library.

    I have all the sound on an external FW drive. Obviously something from the main drive is missing. What do I do?

    Did you open up "Directory Manager" and add the instruments folder?

    I just did a search for Directory Manager and it's not on the drive. Maybe that went when I did the OS install.

    How do I get it back?

    You have to install the actual VSL VI interface (Vienna Instruments, or Vienna Ensemble).  Did you do that yet?  Once you install one or both of them, they install directory manager.  Then you can find it under Applications, Vienna Instruments, Directory manager.

    I have Orchestral Strings I & II, and Solo Strings. When I put the install disk in and click install, it tells me "Could Not find VSL binary installation.

    Please, install main package before installing content."

    Am I missing something?

    I just found the other 2 installer disks with videos. That looks like what I'm supposed to be using. I'll give it a shot and see if it works. Thanks.
