    Hi there,

    On W7 - 64 bits (VEP - 5436 build).  Occassionally when I boot up and connect all farm units to Master (via VEP)  - the 'network name' on the farm units VEP server app reads 'MSHOME'.

    On most days it reads 'i7MASTERDAW' (name I gave to the master Daw).   When it reads 'i7MASTERDAW' - I seem to have less pops and crackles - when it reads 'MSHOME' - performance seems not as good.

    Am I imagining this?

    If not - how do I force it to always read 'i7MASTERDAW'?

     Do you have more than one USER account on this PC? Are you logging on as Administrator when it is the i7MASTERDAW?

    Hey DG - thanks for the reply.  I don't have any of my PC's set up for 'logging on' - but let me check if I have multiple user accnts.  I don't think so but.....I'll confirm.
