    Hi,

    could anyone tell me if the Power Panner in VE does technically the same as the S1 Stereo Imager from WAVE? And, if not, what's the difference?

    Waves' S1 basically relies on a MS-encoder/decoder plus a Gerzon-shuffler, while the VS PowerPanner is ... uhm ... a power panner. Thus it won't do tricks to the stereo-image, just clever straight left-right distribution of a signal, supported by nice signal display.

    IOW: With the exeception of the selectable Pan Law, S1 does the same as PP, but it can do more in certain other areas. These additional features have to be handled with care, though. ;-)
