  • Use elicenser as Vienna Key

    Hi,

I am using Cubase 5 and want to know if the e-licenser for this can be used as a Vienna Key, for the purposes of downloading Vienna Ensemble.

I'm pretty new to VSL products, and don't really know my way around.

Primarily, I use a variety of samples through Kontakt and want to explore VE as a standalone alternative to Kontakt, within Cubase.

    Thanks in advance!

  •  Simple answer, yes.  [:)]

  • Ok, great to hear, thanks!

I have registered my USB e-licenser number with my user name. When I go to the download page for Vienna Ensemble, it looks as though only the manual is available for download. Under the 'software' heading I get the message "There are no files available for your registered products in this category."

Am I doing something wrong with the e-licenser registration, or is there another link I should go to for the download?

    C.

    Hi Cinemuso,

please order your free demo license for Vienna Ensemble PRO here (click on "try").

To avoid misunderstandings: The Epic Orchestra is NOT included with this demo license, it´s VE PRO, the software, only!

Thanks very much. I have downloaded the demo license onto my syncrosoft dongle successfully , and at the risk of sounding a bit slow... where do I actually download the program now?

Second question is - is the free Vienna Instruments program still available (without the networking faciility) and if so, where and how is that downloaded from? (ie: not VE Pro).

    Thanks again

    Cinemuso.

    Hello Cinemuso,

all our software can be downloaded in your USER AREA [:)]

Vienna Ensemble (not PRO) is still available, yes. But it "only" works with Vienna Instruments.... so it won´t be of much use for you, as far as I can tell....

    Best,

    Paul
