  • Doesn't help.  Try searching for Logic Automation, or VE Pro automation.  You get less than a handful of returns.  There are dozens and dozens of them alone just on Logic automation that I remember reading and wanting to reference.  Not to mention all the other automation threads that have been written for each of the different DAWS.  There used to be pages and pages of results.

  • Not to mention pretty much every link from google, bing etc which seems to discuss anything I am looking for an answer on that leads to the VSL community is a dead end.  The infamous page cannot be found.  Hope we get back all of these old posts.

413 results, i just checked the first 10 (including the link to this post) - all are working ... not sure now how i can help you ...

and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds.
  • Hi Christian,

I know none of this worked up until this morning, I have been trying ever since you claimed you guys had a server crash and none of the links worked (from work, home or friends houses etc).  So whatever it was, it finally started working between my last post and this one.

However, if I do a search from a public search engine like google or bing, I get lots of results and they seem to be working at the moment (at least the bunch I tried).  But, if I do a search through the VSL website itself I only get results that are very current.  Say within 2-3 weeks tops.  Nothing older than May of 2010 no matter what I search for.

On the VSL Website under community, I have tried searching for VE Pro Automation, the single term "MIR" and only got 6 pages of results which are the same couple of threads over and over again (showing each response within a single thread).  If I do a search of MIR from the public internet I get tons and tons of links and they seem to work today (unlike yesterday).  For instance, do a search for "making strings sound real with MIR" from google and you get a discussion about MIR from 2009 titles "some thoughts on mixing string ensembles using MIR".  You try that search on the VSL website and you get nothing at all.  I then tried just searching for "MIR" and as stated above, I only get the last 2-3 weeks of threads.  Nothing from the past.

I looked everywhere in my profile and also in the search options (the VSL website search options) and made sure it said "all dates" and "any relevance".  Still, I only get posts that are brand new.

  • Local search still not working... Any update on this?

  • Hmm! Interesting.  When you try to open one of the "Popular Tags" you get this message:

404 - File or directory not found.

The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

Is VSL performing some server maintenance or something?

  • Try searching for "uninstall" -- only 4 results.  Yet I know I have used this phrase in more than a few posts -- and none show up here.

    Using Google:

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=uninstall+site:community.vsl.co.at

Google returns 152 results. The VSL search engine returns 2.

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q="memory+free"+site:community.vsl.co.at

Google returns 35 results. VSL returns just 3 (including a post I just made).

Something is clearly not working in your search here. I will start using Google now for searching the forum. Hope you can figure this out.

  • Also, if you look back on your recent posts, it stops after only one page.

  • june 4th... Still not working. Please look into this VSL. This resource is very important for many here! Thanks.
