    Any thoughts on placing the choir sections on the stages that are provided by the MIR Venues? I suppose since there are no bodies associated with the sounds the sections could be placed anywhere there is a hotspot and even overlapping the strings, eg. sopranos occupy the same space as the 1st Violins etc.

    In a traditional setting, the choir is placed BEHIND the entire group of players in the orchestra, with soloists near the conductor.

    Thanks Rob for your input. I am in the process of trying the choir sections in untried positions to see what the sonic effect is. In the traditional live performance venues this was not possible due to the body effect.
