    Hi, The "Epic Orchestra" that comes with Vienna Ensemble PRO is described as free "Grand Orchestra Sample Pack!" I was just wondering what is the Grand Orchestra? Is it an up and coming bundle of existing products? A new product all together? Just wondering. Thanks, Mike

    Hello Mike

    "Grand" stands for a"large" or for a "big size" orchestra.

    Take the appassionata strings: 20 Violins, (another 20 Violins probably play the 2nd voice) 14 Violas, 12 Cellos, 8 Double-Basses

    Take the Eppic Horn Ensemble: 8 Horns

    Take the Fanfare Trumpets: 6 Pleayers

    Take the Woodwind Ensembles (3 Flutes, 3 Oboes, 3 Clarinets, 3 Bassoons)

    Take the Percussion Instruments...

    Let all of them play together and you suddenly know what "Grand" means...

    This collection has only one disadvantage: you will be addicted to more... [;)]
