One question concerning the opening procedure of the plug-in. I noticed that with the latest updated version of the player it takes quite a bit longer for the VI window to open once the intermediate plug-in box has been clicked. Could this be something that can be considered as part of the VI pro software development. When you are opening and closing VI's all day long as custom matrixes are created on a complex arrangement a quick plug-in opening time both makes the whole music production more streamlined and is a great time saver.

Opening of a plugin window is instant with ViPro.

More great news when can I buy it !?

  • I had big hopes for the next VI version to enable you to stretch the portamento/legato transitions to have more control of the timing. Some other Kontakt based String Library( ;-) ) did that, so it should be possible, but the VIpro preview doesn't look like that is going to be a feature ... any chance?

    Other than that great news!

    Martin and the VSL team:

THANKS for this great news! This answers and addresses long-standing issues.

The new VI Pro look very good indeed.

Many thanks in advance - Colin

  • Ooooh im foaming at the mouth just looking at all these new features..

BUT  - before i get too foamy, i didn't see anything on the page about specs or system requirements.  I'm a Mac user (PPC) and always fear seeing the dreaded "Intel Processor only" info...

So, Herb or Paul or Maya, any info available yet about system requirements?

    Thanks!

    -Michael

  • I doubt us PPC users will be able to use it.

  • Hi VSL Team, VI Pro...This is awesome,a lot more flexible, and WOW!! Some day,VI will just play...,no more worries which articulation, which volume ,which pan, which dept, which reverb, which compressor, which exciter it will just play like a real player, and I conduct......i hope i will still see that day. Will VE Pro get this VI Pro soon,in the near future, some day?
