Sorry (a modest search didn't clarify the below)...
Running PTHD8.x and a local-hosted instance of VEP, both on an i7 CPU with Win 7 64bit and 12 GB ram:
1. When VEP 32 bit is plugged-in to PTHD, is the VEP and all its hosted VI's using the same memory space that PTHD is using or hopefully a separate 4GB...?
2. if the answer to the above is bad, then:
a. how could Jbridge be used as a work around...? and/or
b. can VEP 64 bit be pluged-in to PTHD...?
3. if the answer to 2.b is positive, then how can I force VEP to run a 64 bit server when I can't find a program icon for that?
help will be very appreciated.
