  • A wonderful church (with 10 second of completely even reverb!) is actually ready to be released:

A smaller, much older one will be recorded soon:

New orchestral venues are in the make, but they won't be ready for release before autumn.

Vienna MIR Pro is on the workbench :-) ... no release date can be announced ATM. Thanks for your understanding!

  • Ok!

Just as suggestion...if more scoring rooms could be available (with more warmness) I'd be the happiest man!

    Thx!

  • We hear you! ;-)

  •   Perhaps this has been recently addressed and I haven't seen it--  Has there been a timeframe for the release of MIR for Mac?  I'd love to know by April 30th, as I have a pretty hefty Apple gift certificate that must be activated by then.

    Thanks Guys.       Tom M.

  • MIR Pro won't be ready before April 30th, sorry to say so. :-)

  • Hi Again,

I figured it wouldn't be ready by the 30th, but I am wondering about the long term timeframe.  I'd probably go ahead and use the certificates for a pre-MIR computer, if the lag between purchase and MIR Pro for Mac isn't too long.  But if it's still a long time coming (say, 2011) I'll wait.

      Thanks.  All best.             Tom

  • I've just dld the new udpates for Vsuite and VE....any MIR update on track?

    Thx

Hmmm ... I can't give you an official statement on this, but I hope we will see Vienna MIR Pro in late 2010. The problem is that up to now we have no serious performance tests for OSX that you could influence your decision, so in the end it's solely up to you. Thanks for your understanding.

  • Thanks for the quick reply, Dietz.  We'll be waiting.                            Cheers,     Tom

  • Going back to the topic of 'new rooms for MIR'...

Can you bring out 'The Sage' Hall 1  and 'The Sage' Concourse please??! [:D]

Here's The Sage on the left here:     (it's in Newcastle, England)

The acoustics are amazing and I've also heard concerts on the 'concourse' which have some quite fabulous reverb.

Anyway, I couldn't have lived with myself if I hadn't at least suggested it!

  • PS:

My suggestion is both serious... and not at all serious!! [;)]

I'm sure VSL have their own plan on what rooms to bring out!
