    Whenever I launch VE Pro Server, no window will come up at all until I press cmd-Q to quit. When I do this, the program gets "jump-started" and it loads fine after that. (It doesn't quit.) This happens on all 3 of my machines - Mac Pro, MacBook Pro and G5.

    This behavior is random, however; sometimes it will load fine without having to press cmd-Q.

    Is this a known problem?

    Does it to me too, but not every time, maybe 1 out of every 4. 

    Does it with 64 bit instances, as well as with 32 bit.

    This is a known issue that is resolved in the upcoming update, which will be released any moment now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
