  • feature request vienna suite

    hi there.

i'd really love it, if in the "save"-dialogue of the plugs it were possible to create folders. as of now, you can just save the presetname and have to manually create folders afterwards in the custom folder. such a feature would be a time saver... i admit, just a small one, but still it would make working with the vienna suite even more comfortable and it probably is also easy to implement (i´m not a programmer, just guessing...) in a future update.

another thing that may be nice could be sort of an "expert" mode in the multiband compressor (one of my favourite tools btw... really a great sounding plug) that enables to manually adjust the compressor ratio for each band. don´t get me wrong: there is nothing wrong to my ears with the default setting, it just would be a nice addition for those of us who sometime get into that experimental mood (mostly for other genres...)

    thanks

  • Hi Aural,

thanks for the positive feedback and your suggestions!

Right now, the plug-in is a Multiband Limiter, thus the fixed ratio settings. But I completely understand your wish for even more flexibility (... multiband expansion would be another idea that we were already talking about internally). Let's see what the future brings :-)

    Kind regards,

  • thanks dietz. looking forward to future developments.

    one further thing:

when you create folders for your presets there is a graphic problem. if you have two subfolders for example, the folder tree of the load-menu does not extend beyond the rightside edge of the GUI of the plugin (particularly a problem with plugins that have a small GUI, like powerpan). maybe that can also be adressed in a future update.

    thanks

  • oh... i almost forgot:

it would be also great if VSL provided a tool with which to make your own IRs, quasi as an addendum to the converb...
