Adding Manual Patches to Sibelius Soundsets
Hi Andi, Thank you for helping me with my previous problem. I am praying everything will function tomorrow when it is up and running... For right now I am golden, however I am a little stuck. I want to use the patch 12 VI_mu-sus_noVib which is not available in the Sibelius Soundset presets... If I add it to the matrix C0 under Sib_SoloStr_Violin_L2+II_sus I cannot figure out how to access it from a score in Sibelius. I attempted to write it from a playback dictionary command "No Vibrato" and then set the midi CC to 1,87 As the Cell 7A appears to be accesed under the H-Span set to CC1 within a zone of 86-127 However, VE Pro does not seem to understand this... and plays back the notes as standard 10 VI_sus_vib I also tried sending a direct MIDI CC from sibelius as ~C1,86 To no avail, I hope this makes sense... Can you help? Is it possible to access the patches in Sibelius which are not programmed into the VSL Soundsets? Thank you

Hello CBones55!
I wouldn't change the size of the predefined matrices. All set margins for the controllers will be changed by that and some articulations might not work anymore. If you want to include additional patches, I recommend to replace another patch.
In case of 12 VI_mu-sus_noVib, I would place it on the C0/5A cell. It will then be triggered by default in con sordino (mute) sections of the score. If you want to trigger the patch with vibrato then, just add the Technique Text command "molto vibrato".
Best wishes,
Andi
