  • Using Logic bounce with MIR

I am running Logic on a MacPro and using the external midi tracks in the sequencer to control MIR on a VisionDaw machine using midi over lan. The output from the adat card in the VisionDaw is toslinked to a  Presonus light pipe and the sound can be monitored via headphones or speakers. This part works fine. However, if you try to use the bounce function in Logic on the Mac Pro no audio is detected even though the Presonus Lightpipe is connected to the MacPro via firewire. Can anybody with a similar system make a suggestion for a fix.

    Thanks,

    Stephen W. Beatty

PS. The MIR is the most spectacular piece of software I have ever worked with!!! Great Job VI'ers .

  • Thanks for the friendly words, Stephen!

Are you sure that you can _bounce_ in Logic when using life audio inputs? I would rather try to simply record them ...?
