  • articulation messages in Sibelius 6

    Hi to the forum,

I am just starting to use the SE+ soundsets and I am wondering what you put on the score to trigger the fast repetitions, and then also, there are different speeds as well, so how does one trigger a fast repetition, and also the actual speed of the patch?

The other thing I was wanting to know was how to trigger the legato repetitions via the score.

thanks for any help with this from anyone.

    Steve.

  • Hello Steve!

The articulations you mentioned are not included in the sound set, but you can trigger them with MIDI commands (written as Technique Text) in Sibelius. Here is in short how that works:
"~Nxx,64" for key switches (xx stands for the key. C0=12, C1=24, C#1=25, ...)
"~C1,yy" for CC1 commands (yy stands for the value)

For detailed information please take a look at Sibelius Reference.

    Best regards,
    Andi
