How to switch from Legato to Portamento (Solo Violin SE)?

Hi, I am using the 01S Violin Solo from SE. I use the predefined key switches in Control Edit H-Span to switch between different articulations (1A=Staccatto, 2A Detache, etc) which are working fine. How do I switch back and forth from 4A Legato to 4B Portamento? I have tried using V-Span and A/B-select with the assigned key switches but it doesn't seem to work. What is the best way to do this? Please advise. Best regards

Hello Uncle D!

In the matrix 01S Violin Solo (Special Edition) the V-Span is not controlled with a keyswitch, but with CC1 (= Mod Wheel). Of course you could also change that to key switches, if you prefer that. But please keep in mind that the Sibelius sound set will only work with V-Span set to CC1.
