Hi Paul,
Ok, I try to understand it like my 8x midi routers, each of the eight In and Out is one PORT, to which I connect one single keyboard, which itself has 16 midi channels available.
Practically this would mean that in one VEPro instance, it is not possible to load more than one Omnisphere or Kontakt other than sending on the same 16 channels. So I could use one 16 multitimbral instrument in Logic that is served by one instance of VePro. Using Kontakt and Omnisphere and Vienna Instruments in the same, would mean they all have to share the 16 channels.
Is it asking for trouble, if say some of them are played over the same channel?
Then I suppose, loading another VePro instance onto another Logic multitimbral Instrument, using VePro plugin midi channel 2 (Port), and Logic midi channel 2 is the way to do it.
Hold on, or does that mean there is only that SINGLE Port available in Logic? That can't be, or can it?
I am afraid I am still not 100% certain here.... LOL
P.S. What was that line break carriage return sign again the bracket B bracket is obvisouly for bold characters.
