I think I installed MIR properly, but during the installation procedure I didn't see anything happen with the bin files that I downloaded.
So how do I know if I've installed MIR properly?
Can I delete the BIN files after I've installed MIR?

Hi Marko,
MIR comes with two installations: One will install the actual program (including a very basic Default Room) on your harddisk. You should see a red icon now, and you should be able to open the application. After that, each RoomPack has to be installed seperately - they include the multi impulse response data from the venues we recorded. - The manual gives you detailled information about the procedure.
Please let me know if there is anything still unclear.
Kind regards,
You don't need the *.bin files to work with MIR once the installation was successful, but I would keep them backed up in a save place (unless you have a very fast internet connection to re-download the data when you need it again).
The path for the impulse response data is defined by you during installation, and Vienna MIR should find them by default (it's in the Option/Preferences-dialog), but you can always have Windows search for files with the *.vmi-extension (for "Vienna MIR Impulse") to see where they reside.
HTH,
