    Running a MacPro-Protools system and linking via LAN to a G5 running VEPro. The system works really well for a while and if I get up for lunch or whatever, when I return, VEPro is totally non-resposive. I able to shut it down w/o a force quit but it receives to midi and transmits no audio, even when I use the mouse to tap the plugin's keyboard. A restart and everything's good again. Neither computer is set to go to sleep so its not that. any thoughts?

    Did you try reconnecting the plugin to the server rather than doing a full restart?

    That doesn't seem to fix it either. I was wondering if just having the monitors go to sleep might be the issue. Testing that now. -b
