was working fine earlier today - in fact so good, I decided to move two noisy machines out of my control room.
wouldn't you know it, I had problems re-establishing internet connections after I moved two VEpro server machines.
so now I get bad cracky audio dropouts when this morning it was perfect.
Anything to troubleshoot? I recently started using a manual IP address (for Mac) but had some headaches getting online after I moved two machines, so switched back to using DHCP for choosing IP. The weird things is it used to give me an internal-looking IP address like 10.0.1.XX but now DHCP gives me an external-looking address like 169.254.243.XXX . Do I need to set-up a brand new router connection/network again?
The internet seemed to work fine again even with the weird IP so I thought I was good to go, but now getting poor audio over network.
HELP!
