    Hi,
    I just bought Halion and Siedlaczeks Advanced Library (which was a mistake!). I think about waiting foor the hard-disk-version of the Vienna Symphonic Library. How long will it take AND will the prize be much higher than the prize of a PC with Gogastudio and the DVD-Version?

    Allthough I can't give you a final word on the availabilty of the HD-version (The Symphonic Cube), I'd like to point you to our "VIP" (i.e. Vienna Innovation Program)-upgrade path. The idea behind it is that our users should have minimal costs if they want to enlarge their Vienna-pool, or if they decide to change platform.

    In other words: You could buy the DVD-edition now, and get the HD-version painlessly later.

    ... but I'm only an audio-guy ;-] ... I hope our Marketing Director has more details to add as soon he has recovered from the jet-lag from his flight back from the NAMM. 8-]

    Hi and thanks for the friendly answer,
    could you tell me if one PC is really enough to work seriously with the first and the pro edition. i´ve heard that the samples are so resource-consuming that even a fast pc won´t make it. i speak about a p4 with 2,66, 180 GB and 1 Gb DDR-RAM. Is RAMBUS necesarry?
    I´m a bit afraid [*-)] to spend 7000 bucks and have problems.
    But I´m looking forward to work with the Library...
