welcome hans,
you may have to validate the VE plugin manually (AU manager) - usually this indicates your permissions are not 100% ok, please use disk utility first to repair permissions on your system volume ... best reboot before

Hi Christian,
i repaired the disk permissions, validated the VE manually, starting up the VE server before and after starting up Logic (i could see it scanning my ilok and syncrosoft keys),rebooted several times but nothing helps(all the au plugs work perfectly in Logic).Could it have something to do with the fact that i'm using the demo version?
Hans
Hi Hans,
that´s really strange.
The demo license works just like the "real" VE PRO version, no restrictions.
I´d try to install the latest public beta version of VE PRO once again.
Let me know if that changes anything.
Best,
Paul
It seems you are using the 64bit version of the VE Pro Server application. This can only load 64bit AU's (of which only a few exist as of yet). To be able to use all your 32bit AU's, you should use the 32bit version of the VE Pro Server. As a standalone no problem,I can see all my audio units, but as a plug-in( in Logic 9.0.2) there's only 1au(apple DLSMusicdevice)available besides my vienna instrument(which works fine)...anyone?
