Where can I download the demoversion of MIR?
I've been looking all over the website with no luck.
Thanks.
Best regards,
Henrik
194,231 users have contributed to 42,914 threads and 257,938 posts.
In the past 24 hours, we have 2 new thread(s), 14 new post(s) and 88 new user(s).
Can I ask a question here since my question in the announcement thread for MIR beta has gone unanswered.
I tried MIR early on when I bought a VSL instrument. It has long since expired.
But now that the beta for the MIR that will host other VSTs is out I'd really like to try it but when I log in it says you already have a trial license (which is true but it is expired)
Can we get this reset so that we can test this new beta?
Thanks,
Brian

Ack, I do not have any VIs yet, as my main library is one of the other big ones (SI).Yet I am very, very eager to test MIR, which could be just the thing for me.
Do I really have to buy a VI library just to get to try out the MIR-demo with my main library?
Thanks again.
Best regards,
Henrik
Henrik, don't despair, just read again 😉
[quote=herb]The "Public Beta" version of VIENNA MIR is only available for users who have at least one registered Vienna Instruments library.HTH,
Well, second post in two different threads about the MIR demo and still my question is ignored.
Thanks, anyway.
Hi CSTeam,
sorry for the delay. I have checked and you have tested MIR in October 2009 until November 2009. The new public beta 1.1 is not available with a demo license yet, it´s for registered users exclusively. As Herb pointed out earlier, MIR 1.1 will be available to demo users as soon as it is an official version.
Once this is the case, your best idea is to contact our support team directly!
Best,
Pauö
Thanks, Pauo, it's just that the wording from the Vienna Newsletter is a little confusing...
quote:
The public beta of Vienna MIR 1.1. is now available for download as a free update to all Vienna MIR users. Vienna Instruments users may test-drive Vienna MIR 1.1 using a free demo license.
The second line led me to believe that any Vienna Instrument user can get the free demo license now. I'll wait and see until this is all sorted out here.
Ah! Thanks, Dietz [:)]
I've been wanting to get the SE Woodwinds for a while though.
I think I will look in my calc sheet to see what I can afford, and then perhaps get it by January 1st.
Then I can download the MIR public beta demo afterwards!
Thanks for such quick replies, and Merry Christmas everybody!
Best regards,
Henrik

Any news about when the demo of MIR will be downloadable for everybody?
Hi Henrik,
Vienna MIR is already downloadable for everybody - just login an check the Software section of your User Area: http://vsl.co.at/en/68/428/709/376/239.htm
Hi Florian,
Thanks for the reply.
I think you need to have bought minimum one VSL instrument before MIR becomes downloadable ?
At the page you suggest, I see this:
ATTENTION: Vienna MIR requires Windows Vista or Windows 7 64bit

Hi Henrik,
I'm sorry - here is the whole truth:
AS far as I know, you don't need to own any other VSL product, but you definately have to "order" a trial license from the MIR product page: http://vsl.co.at/de/211/497/1687/455/1287.htm (just hit the "TRY"-button)
After that the installers for MIR and the trial roompack will become available in your User Area.
