Ensemble Pro doesn't work after sleep

Once my slave G5 running VE Pro Server goes to sleep, upon waking it Ensemble Pro does not function.  No midi or sound.  Cannot even trigger sound from onscreen Vienna Instruments keyboard.  Any one else w/same issue?

Sounds like the network session has timed out. I'd recommend you to disable sleep on your slave.

FYI.... sleep is working great on my PC slaves.

I'm on Mac 10.5.8 and just upgraded to the new beta of VEP.  Let me see if things are different with the new version...

I normally don't let this happen, but if it does for some reason, I've found that if I open the server window on the master and reconnect to the slave, it reloads almost instantly. The networked timed out, but the samples are still in memory. So it shouldn't be a big problem if it happens. Just a couple clicks and back to work.

usually this depends if you allow your network card to be hooked off when the system goes into a certain idle mode - this behaviour can be set in energy options.
