There might be a new possibility to use rewire within Ve Pro. Energy XT today announced a new VST Plugin enabling Rewire in VST-hosts. It's limited to 8 audio channels right now, what is a drawback But judge yourself: http://www.energy-xt.com/index.php?id=0115. I'll try it and report back here.
