    Just wondering if anyone is using this setup successfully?

    I want to use VE Pro on my Mac G5 w/Tiger 10.4.1 (host) , and on a PC as

     a slave. While I know Tiger  isn't officially supported, I thought I could at least try it

    using the demo, but the installer just closes on my Mac. It give the error message:

    "This software requires at least Leopard 10.5."

    Yes I've got this configuration and no it won't work. You need Leopard (or the Snow variant) even though it's just for hosting.

    I've just had a thought - with you being on a PPC you'd better pick up Leopard soon if you want to run VE Pro. Snow Leopard is superceding it and that doesn't support PPC at all.
