• Vienna Suite Presets Downloads?

    Hi everyone,

The Vienna Suite Presets provided are fantastic... and thanks so much to the VSL team. I especially like the resonance presets: SO HELPFUL! :)

They're so good in fact that I want more!! And I'm sure I'm not alone in this request. I've searched the forum and just spent about 20 minutes looking around the VSL site to try to find a "preset update" download, as I seem to remember when I first got the Suite that there was something mentioned about "more great presets on the way for future download" or something like that... so I'm wondering... where can I find more factory presets that I can use to start from...?? As many as possible please especially useful ones for real world use are fantastic, "favourites" of VSL staff and engineers etc... would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Miklos,

Thanks for the friendly words! Highly appreciated. Creating those individual Presets took quite some time, so it's good to know that even experienced users like you find them useful.

Several hundred new presets were included in the latest version of Vienna Suite. There's no seperated download available. If you haven't updated to this version already, you should do it _now_ ;-). -> http://vsl.co.at/en/68/428/425/213.htm

  • Lots of time put in: I can tell!

I certainly find them useful. When you're composing and putting a piece together, the presets are a great way to go "that's the sound I'm looking for" and then adjust to suit your specific needs. They're a great starting point, and then you can individualise them. Very helpful. I must say, the more the better!!! especially for real world situations / sounds one might be trying to achieve.

I think I have those latest presets, so that's great... as I say, the more the merrier!
