Really good and dynamic composition. Up to 32sec everything perfect. The strings from there on are a bit too static. Each voice of the strings should have its own velocity automation. Not sure if you have applied velocity crossfades here. For variety double with solo strings etc...If you can massage the full orchestra section a bit further it will be gorgeous.
I hope I didnt say too much. [:#] I just spoke my mind. [:D]
Thanks for the input veet and don't worry, you didn't say too much. How else am I going to learn if nobody gives me thought-out criticism? [:D]
I created this piece well over a year ago now so I'm not exactly too sure all that I did. I'm pretty sure I did have some solo doubling, but I'd have to take a look again and I know for a fact that there was no velocity crossfades used. I have thought about going back and massaging things further, so we'll see. This was one of the first pieces I created after getting the Special Edition library and was done on an iMac, which I still use (haven't had the funds yet for a full-blown rig). Like for most people, I think, composition is my friend, it's the engineering that it the unfamiliar territory. [;)]
Thanks again for all of your input!
