    I have a Logic 9 project with Vienna Ensemble running. (Not VE Pro)

    When I change screensets in Logic, what often happens is that the VE instruments do not play. If I select the VE track(s) and play a note or 2 on my keyboard, the instruments "wake up" and then the song plays as normal. They will be fine until I change screensets again - which I do a lot.

    Is this a known bug?

    Any suggestions or workarounds?

    I have Logic 9.0.2 and Vienna Ensemble 2.0 build 4017 running in Mac OS 10.5.8

    Does someone else also experience this problem.

    The VSL team: is this a known issue?

    Someone said to put a i/o plugin (in bypass mode) on VEPro for keeping the instrument in live mode. Seems to work so far.

    Do you mean in the Logic channel strip?

    Before the VE plugin?

    Yes,

    In the inserts section of the channel strip, in the Utility menu there's I/O. Put this plugin as an insert and  then bypass it .
