VSL Ensemble and Finale 2009

I am a Finale 2009 user and have VSL Special Edition. Can anybody explain me, whether I can use VSL ensemble together with Finale 2009 and if, how have I to proceed to integrate VSL Ensemble into Finale 2009.

Thanks for your interest.
We offer Finale 2008 and Finale 2009 Human Playback Preferences for our Vienna Special Edition customers as a free download at the following location. This means that articulation changes will work automatically.

You will find a readme file that comes with the HPP file on how to use it.

Thank you very much for the tipp. It works perfect. An other question: newly i realised that additionally to my VSL special edition and VSL special edition plus so called advanced instruments i.e. 00 Violins advanced. Are this advanced instruments an update or a 30-d-trial?

Hi Beat!

The articulations in the advanced folders are the Special Edition PLUS articulations.
You have registered Special Edition and Special Edition PLUS standard. This means you can use all standard instruments with all articulations without any limitation. Additionally you can try the extended instruments (marked with L2) for 30 days.

 Hallo

Gibt es in der Nähe von Zürich Finale / VSL Anwender, der/die mir bei der korrekten Anwendung des Human playback bei Finale behilflich sein kann. Ich schaffe es nicht, Finale so zu konfigurieren, dass die in Finales Einstellung für Wiedergabestilistik definierten Key-switches in VSL Ensemble einen Effekt sprich den defnierten key-switch auslösen.

Trotz Hilfe durch die Gelehrten von Finale schaffe ich das nicht. Bin offensichtlich zu blöd, das zu begreifen.

Maybe I can help you, if you give me some more details.
Did you manage to load Vienna Ensemble inside Sibelius?
Was it possible for you to import the Special Edition Human Playback Preferences?
Maybe they are imported, but still not activated in the Human Playback Preferences window.
Do the instruments in your Finale instruments list have the same MIDI channels as in Vienna Ensemble?
