  • VE Pro mac version and vstis?

I can't seem to get vstis to show up under the mac version. All I see are AU's. Is this correct? My sequencer is Nuendo on WinXP and I thought I would finally employ my Mac Pro to do some audio with Ve Pro. I tried to disconenct a VE Pro instance that had Superior 2 loaded and reconnect it to the mac Ve Pro but when trying to load it says it could not instantiate the plugin which I assume becaue of the different AU format. I checked the manual and it says nothing about this.

The only plugs that will show up in OSX using VE Pro are AU.

  • Loading projects between Mac and PC does not work due to a different format used for saving data for AU and VST standards. We have solved this compatibility for Vienna Instruments, Vienna Suite and Vienna Imperial plugins, so they will load properly Mac>PC and PC>Mac, but for any other plugins you will be out of luck, getting the "missing plugins" dialog as you describe.

However, if you supported VST plugs on OSX, wouldn't this solve the problem?
