    Is it possible to run VE and VEPro at the same time? 

    I'm purchasing a MacPro 8 Core on friday which will leave a Mac G5 PPC free. Since VEPro won't run in stand alone on a PPC can I run an instance of VE to the G5 and then VEPro for all of my Mac Mini farms?

    Any info would be greatly appreciated!

    VE Pro runs on PPC (but PPC support is not actively maintained).

    But from my understanding, VEPro will not work on a PPC as a stand alone. I am currently using VEPro on my G5 as the host but now I want to use it as a slave (on the PPC). 

    Tell me if I am wrong.

    VE Pro should work fine as both server and standalone on PPC (though as mentioned before, PPC support isn't actively maintained).

    Ahhhhh! Great news Karel! I'd hate to not be able to use the "old girl" so this is definitely good news!
