    Hi

    Getting no sound when changing to another non VE Pro track in Logic 9

    Have Ve pro on first Channel in logic across network to Mac mini running 1 instance of VE pro hosting 1 Kontakt with 5 LASS articulations loaded.

    When I change to Inst 2 in logic the sound from the Ve pro goes dead although I can see the meters still kicking in VE on the mac mini.

    This is version 4.0 build 4416.

    Any ideas ?

    please check out the public beta version of VE PRO, available in your USER AREA.

    This should fix your problem.

    Dear WS,

    this problem can be fixed by setting the "Process Buffer Range" to "medium" in Logic. You´ll find this setting in Preferences/Audio/Devices/CoreAudio.

    Thankyou.

    I did both of these things, and the buffer range worked.

    Its a great bit of software thankyou- I like the lack of latency when playing the slave computer.

    I have just a cope of points.

    Deleting a track when VE pro is running takes a long time. I think 4-5 seconds and sometimes a beach ball.

    Also what is the quickest way of booting a template saved on the slave mac mini? I tried double clicking the .viframe file I saved to desktop but it doesn't recognise this.

    You should be able to connect to the ".viframe" from your Master computer through the VE PRO server interface window...it´s also explained in the manual.
