VSL and Notion3

Anybody used this software with VSL?  I have an older version (v.4) of Sibelius and am thinking of upgrading.  The promo on Notion3 looks very promising, especially the live performance issues.  thanks![:)]

Notion 3 works very well with the Vienna Special Edition and the Special Edition PLUS.
If you want to stay with Sibelius, I strongly recommend updating to version 6.

Thanks!  I had read that they work together, but wanted someones realistic view.  Do you know if Notion3 works with the VSL Cube?  I've noticed that Notion only refers to the Special Edition and Special Edition Plus when they talk about compatibility.

Our bigger collections are not supported by Notion at the moment. You could load them, but the articulation changes will not work properly.

But if you want to, you can get it to work. Here is how:
Load the Notion 3 presets for the Special Edition PLUS and replace each patch you want to use for your score with a patch from one of the bigger collections.

I beta tested NOTION3 and found it did work quite well with VSL- perhaps even moreso than EW although I think it's all around great with any sample lib that is supported.  It's a fantastic compositional tool IMO.

Perhaps naive question: Will Notion 3 operate with VE PRO as it does with VE 2 in the demos or that would need some configurations not yet supported on their part?

Also, does anyone here think that manipulating the sounds (modulation wheel etc.) as it's shown in NOTION's demos with those "audio" staves would take the bulk of work away from having to be done inside the DAW? I would very-very-very-very-very much prefer to work with manuscript rather than piano rolls and sequencers as much as possible!! Has anyone gotten decent results from doing this - perhaps needing minor tweaking and mixing/reverb subsequently?

Notion 3 will support Vienna Ensemble Pro in the next update. That's what I've been told by the Notion guys.

Thanks for the info.  Notion3 should be arriving at my door sometime this week and I'll give your suggestion a go.
