  • How "automate" loading of several stand-alone VE projects on Mac?

I'm using 3 instances of VE 2 stand-alone with a fixed orchestral template distributed on these three VE's.

Is there an easy way of "automating" the loading process of this setup? At the moment I have to open each VE separately and then choose the appropriate project for each VE. It takes quite a long time each day and it would be great if this could be done with just one click.

    Thanks

    Hi Albert,

metaframes in VE PRO con do that... simply place the metaframe in your startup menu.....

A free VE PRO demo license is available here.

    Best,

  • Hi Paul,

so you mean that I can't do this with VE 2? Only in VE PRO?

    Thanks

    Albert

  • You can add Vienna Ensemble 2 (standalone) to your "login items". Then the application will start automatically, you´ll still need to open your .viframe.

Sorry Maya, I can't find anything labeled "login items" on my HD. Do you mean "StartupItems" in Macintosh HD>System>Library?

  • Both should work. "Login Items" can be found in System Preferences/Accounts/...
