    Hi,

    I just bought a used (1 year) Mac Pro 2x2.8Ghz Intel Xeon with 10GB (2GB modules) RAM.

    I am upgrading from a macbook pro, so I can't wait to try it out :)

    Does anyone have any tips/suggestions what I should do to optimize?

    I do not know the chipset of the builtin firewire bus, I would have to check when I get it, but if it's not TI, should I get another pci-card?

    Anyway, I am psyched!
