Loading 64 bit AU plugins into 64 bit VE Pro Server

Hey all,

I am trying to figure out how to load 64 bit AU plugins into VE Pro.

As of now, the only thing I'm able to load into 64 bit server is all the VSL instruments.  I've scoured the Forum area, and I have come across people mentioning loading Stylus RMX, etc into the 64 bit version of the server, so I'm assuming Stylus RMX is 64 bit (BTW, any idea on how one can tell whether a plugin is 32 or 64 bit?). 

I'm on a SL 10.6.1 Mac, 24GB RAM.

Any insight and help is much appreciated!

Hi Damir,

you can load 64-bit plug-ins into the 64-bit VE PRO, and 32-bit plug-ins into the 32-bit VE PRO. Pretty simple.

All our plug-ins are of course available in 64 bit, and a few others are also catching up (you mentioned Stylus).

Thanks for getting back to me so fast, Paul! I am aware that should load 64 bit plugins into 64 bit Server . My question is - how? I have no available plugins (besides VSL instruments) showing up in the list, and I should be seeing at least Stylus, as you're confirming it's a 64 bit plugin, right? 

Tthe 32 bit Server AU list shows all my plugins correctly.

BTW, I haven't had a chance to compliment you on the superb job with VE Pro.

Stylus RMX shows up fine as  64-bit plug-in here on my OSX 10.6.1 MBPro.

Are you sure you have installed the latest software version of Stylus RMX?
