    Hi all,

    I'm trying to install VE PRO to update from VE 3 and am having some problems as the installation program on my DAW (Mac) (running Logic and OS X 10.4.11) will not run as it requires 10.5.7 or later. Everything installed perfectly on my (PC) XP64 which will run the VE PRO Server.

    I was under the impression that only the Server computer had to comply with the host sequencer's system requirements to run the VE PRO server. Obviously though I must need the AU plugin on my DAW... Am I missing something here?

    Hello Geoff,

    to use Vienna Ensemble PRO as a plug-in in your sequencer, you also need OS X 10.5 or higher.

    Of course you can still use VE PRO as a stand-alone on your slave machines, but you will miss the LAN features....
