Logic can't locate my Vienna Instruments - the stand alone can...

Hey everybody!

Maybe you can help me!

I reinstalled my MAC Book Pro.

I used the newest Vienna Installer and the newest Licence Controller. Logic is able to find the Vienna AU but it doesn't find the instruments. I removed all folders from the directory manager and dragged the folders with the *.dats back afterwards. I restarted and did everything that was mentioned in the other posts... Still. Logic can't find my Vienna instruments - the stand alone can.

Can you help me?

Hi Holger,

did you check in the AU Manager yet? Find it in "Preferences" and check whether Vienna Instruments / Vienna Ensemble is activated in Logic.

Of course I checked that ;-) First thing to do.

I solved the problem. I checked the hard drive for "Zugriffsrechte" (I don't know the english term). It took about 8min to repair them all....*lol. After that - wonder, wonder - it worked.

it´s called "repair permissions" in english, and yes, it helps - good idea to do that from time to time!

Hello Angus,

Please make sure that you are using the latest eLCC and ALL the latest VSL software:

We have updated the copy protection, so all parts (protection software and the protected software) need to be updated! After this, please restart your computer, and everything should work just fine!

If it still doesn´t work, please contact with more details about your system!
