    I have dragged the vienna ensemble pro vst3 to the folder C:/Program files/steinberg/cubase5/vst3 but when I start Cubase I don't know how to start the VST3 VE pro. Can anyone help? Thanks. NM

    Start the VE Pro server before you open Cubase.

    When you have started Cubase and then opened your project, open the VSTi rack (F11) and you should see VE Pro in the list.

    I don't know what it looks like on Windows... but here, there shows two VE Pros as choices in the vsti rack. one of these has three bars to the left of the text. that one is vst 3.

    Thank you Quiescence! That's it. I thought the three bars meant it was a 64bit plug-in (as I am running cubase 5 32bit). It funny that nowhere on the Cubase manual did I find a description of what the 3 bars behind the plug in mean. Thanks for sharing this information! NM
