I know you have improved Kontakt behavior in Logic, but the save times are still way too long to be useable if you get several K4's in the template.  L9 menus are not as sluggish anymore but the save times impede the work flow too much.   

Any idea when this might be completely fixed?

Did you use the "Decouple" function? (see page 7 of the revised manual)
